Oltiin kämppikseni kanssa eilen kävelyllä naapuristossa (A), tutkailemassa hieman ympäristöä. Pieni tutkimusmatka kääntyi pian aikamoiseksi kävelysuoritukseksi sillä ehdimme Mare streetille (B) asti.
Yesterday I was out exploring with my flatmate. We only intended to have a browse through the neighbourhood (A) yet little did we know we would end up on Mare street (B).
Päädyimme Picture Houseen päivälliselle. Vinyylejä liian kovalla soittanutta dj:tä lukunottamatta paikka oli mieluinen. Ruoka-annokset runsaita, hinta-laatu suhde enemmän kuin kohdallaan. Voin kuvitella, tämän lounge tyylisen ravintolan olen aivan täynnä kesäiltoina tai viikonloppuisin, kun nälkäiset leffavieraat kaipaavat hiukopalaa.
With our tummies rumbling, we decided have dinner at Picture House. Apart from the dj playing his vinyls too loud the venue was really nice and the food was mount watering. Great price and generous portions, with home made mayo in your burger, it doesn't get much better than that.
Picture house siis sijoittuu elokuvateatterin aulaan, levittäytyen pitkulaiseen tilaan, elokuvateatterin sisäänkäynnistä vasemmalle katsottuna. Seuraavalla kerralla, koitan napata pari kuvaa myös sisältä. Kyllä, picture house on kyllä vielä monen käynnin arvoinen, enhän vielä ole ehtinyt maistaa talon nacho platteria ja falafel lautanen jäi myös kokematta.
A really cool chill out bar to meet up with friends as well as great for a casual dinner or sharing a platter of nachos or delicious falafel plate we read off the menu.
